The Department of Economics are delighted to host their first public lecture in the Faculty of Social Science's lecture series with Andrew Oswald, Professor of Economics and Behavioural Science. The title of the talk is 'Societal Unhappiness and the Uncertain Future of Democracy'.

Skadden will be hosting an open evening for first year students (law or non-law) interested in pursuing a career in law. It will be a great opportunity to gain invaluable insights about the firm, our graduate recruitment process and network with our trainees and lawyers.

The firm will reimburse standard-class travel on public transport.

To be eligible to apply to this event, candidates need to be in the first year of their degree (law or non-law).

Pets As Therapy (PAT) is a national charity, working to enhance health and wellbeing in the community through the visits of volunteers with their pets. They provide this service in hospitals, hospices, nursing and care homes, special needs schools and a variety of other venues all across the UK.
