British Association of Comparative Law (BACL) PGR Workshop - May 2023

Warwick Law School is pleased to host the 2023 British Association of Comparative Law (BACL) annual postgraduate workshop. The workshop is open to PhD candidates at any stage of their research, from any part of the world, who work on any aspect of Comparative Law. The workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to present work in progress, receive feedback on their work from leading comparative scholars, engage in networking activities, and learn more about the pathway from PhD to publication from Intersentia Publishing.

Please note that we invite those wishing to participate to register in the usual way, but we can no longer accept submissions of papers - our programme is now full!

We are very pleased that Dr Alex Schwartz (Senior Lecturer in Law, University of Glasgow) will give a keynote address entitled, “Comparison in Empirical and Computational Legal Studies” on Tuesday 3 May.

A workshop dinner will be held on Tuesday evening.

Registration fees: £35 (for those with affiliation at BACL-member institutions); £45 (for all others). Please register to attend.
