ECR Summer Showcase: Expression of Interest

One of the sessions on the day will be a Writing Workshop. There are two options for participation, depending on people's needs and interests.

  1. Option 1 involves submitting a short piece of written work for feedback. Time will be allocated in session for you to meet with the person who has commented on your work to talk through it. Your written submission will be due on 12th June. We will be running three online writing sessions in the lead-up to help progress your submission (dates and times to follow).
  2. Option 2 involves reading a publication from someone in the Law School and reflecting on their writing, providing a rare opportunity for us to learn more about what people in the department are working on and different styles of writing. Time will be allocated on the day for sharing your reflections. A list of suggested publications will be circulated closer to the time. To benefit most from this exercise, we encourage you to read a piece that is outside of your area of expertise.

Please register your interest for one of the options below.

Option 1: Feedback on Written Work
Option 2: Reflecting on Written Work

As there are a number of social activities planned for the day, we encourage in-person attendance, but if you are unable to attend in person, please indicate here so we can make hybrid arrangements.

Thank you for your submission. We will get back to you with further particulars and a draft programme shortly.
