Law students take part in National Law Triathlon

First year students Ryan Bingham (3 year LLB) and Simran Bhutada (4 year LLB) took part in the National Law Student Triathlon on Saturday 26 – Sunday 27 April 2025, organised by Kent University.

Returning for its 4th year, the National Law Student Triathlon brings together law students from around the country to compete in not one, but three skills-based activities. As Kent phrased it:

“Think Law Student meets Tri-Wizard Tournament!”

Over the weekend, students competed in a negotiation, first instance advocacy and a moot. They also had opportunities to gain insightful feedback from renowned practitioners and judges from around the country, as well as attend training sessions to hone their skills.

Supported by the Bar Society and funded by Warwick Law School, Ryan and Simran have each blogged about their time at the Triathlon, sharing their experiences with other students looking to attend similar events in the future.

This was an intense competition which required a lot of preparation and courage; their hard work and success should not go unnoticed. Congratulations to them both for taking part and getting the most out of the experience.

Thank you for representing Warwick Law School so brilliantly.
