AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

FOR LLM AND RESEARCH STUDENTS

We are pleased to announce that this year’s Annual Conference for LLM and Research Students will take place on 5 and 6 March at Rootes Hall (3-6:30 PM on Friday) and in room S. 0.21(Saturday 10:30 AM to 6 PM).

The keynote speaker will be HE Mariano Fernández, Chile’s Ambassador to London.

There will be four Panels on the following themes:

  • INTERNATIONAL LAW AND POLITICAL THEORY
  • SECURITY RIGHTS AND INTERNATIONAL LAW
  • IMPROVING INTERNATIONAL GOVERNANCE
  • THE WTO TODAY

The speakers include:

Professor Michael Byers (Duke University, USA), Dr. Andrew Hurrell (Oxford University), Professor Jan Aart Scholte (Warwick University), Claudia Orozco (WTO Panellist), Professor Inger-Johanne Sand (University of Oslo), Ann Zammit (UNRISD, Geneva), Professor Peter Muchlinski (University of Kent), Mary Footer (University of Amsterdam), G. Simpson (LSE), Adrian Hunt (Birmingham) and Solange Mouthaan (Warwick University), Andrew Williams (Warwick University).
