PG Guest Lecture - Davis Polk
Title: Public company takeovers
Abstract: With over 20 years of corporate finance experience, Will Pearce, Partner at Davis Polk has advised extensively on the Listing, Prospectus, Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Market Abuse Regulation and the Takeover Code and is one of a handful of law firm partners in the U.K. to be recognized as both a leading lawyer for corporate/M&A and equity capital markets. He will lead Week 8’s seminar on the Mergers & Acquisitions module, providing an overview of how public takeovers are structured, how the process is run and drawing particularly on the recent Comcast/Sky transaction in which Will was heavily involved.
