Title: ‘Investment Law and Investor Conduct: What signals do tribunals send to MNEs and are recent treaties and decisions heading in the right direction?’

Using several examples from recent investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS) decisions and treaty practice, this presentation will examine the messages investment law is sending multinational enterprises in terms of the standards of conduct by which they should abide, explore whether we should be optimistic or concerned about these trends, and consider implications for further reform discussions.
