Bio

Christopher joined Warwick in September 2012 after four years at the University Leicester. Prior to that he was the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) Lektor in German Law at Warwick. Christopher has worked as a researcher at the Max-Planck-Institut for foreign and international private law in Hamburg, Germany, and was a member of the working team on credit securities of the Study Group on a European Civil Code.

Professional Practice

Informing Practitioners in Law, Governance and the Judiciary

Law School colleagues have helped to inform professional practice through delivering lectures to practitioners. Christopher Bisping delivered a public lecture on ‘Predictability, Reliability and the Commercial Awareness of English Law in Comparative Perspective’ at QMUL Centre for Commercial Law Studies, 7 February 2013. This was attended not only by students and academics, but also by practising lawyers, with the event being CPD accredited.
