Event: Public Lecture – Current Issues in the US Death Penalty

The Centre for Human Rights in Practice will be hosting two US practitioners for a public lecture: Current Issues in the US Death Penalty: Mitigation, Mental Health, and Justice. Two Practitioners’ Views.

The Centre for Human Rights in Practice oversees The Death Penalty Internship Programme which is now in its ninth year. It gives a unique opportunity for students to undertake two month internships in the US, giving them ‘hands-on’ exposure of legal work. The programme is in its ninth year.
