Manika Bora studied economics at the University of Delhi (2002—2005) and at Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi (2005—2010). She is now researching the economics of education and the role of caste, gender and public policy in enabling and impeding access to educational opportunities. Her doctoral work at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), Delhi (2014—) is an empirical study of intergenerational mobility in education in the state of Bihar in eastern India.

Lovitoli Jimo is Assistant Professor in Gender Studies/ School of Human Studies, Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD). Her research interest is on marriage, kinship and family studies, consumption, material culture, and gender and cultural history of North East India.
I have completed Under Graduation (2008) from Presidency College, Kolkata and Post Graduation (2010) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and M.Phil (2012) from Institute of Development Studies Kolkata (IDSK). I am pursuing Ph.D at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, under the Supervision of Dr. Nandini Manjrekar. In 2019, I have joined in a college (Vidyanagar College) as Assistant Professor under the University of Calcutta.

Dr Kamlesh Narwana is working as an Assistant Professor with Department of Education, Institute of Home Economics, Delhi University. She has provided consultancy to NUEPA and MHRD for different research projects. She hold her doctoral degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University. In her doctoral study, she has explored the success and challenges of community participation in Haryana. Her research interests include Community Participation, Parental School Choice, Private Schools, and Medium of Instructions etc.
Dr. Manju Panwar is presently holding the charge of Chairperson, Department of Social Work in Bhagat Phool Singh Women’ s University, Sonipat, Haryana, India. She has the experience of over fifteen years as Social Work Educator, Researcher and Practitioner. She has participated and presented papers in conferences, seminars, and workshops at the National and International levels. Her first book titled “Social Action- Experiences of Young Activist, Mittal Publications was reviewed by David Moxley, Professor of Community Practice and Social Action, University of Oklahoma, Norman and published in Journal of Community Practice, Taylor & Francis Group. She has completed two U.G.C Research Projects. Her areas of interest are gender studies, community organization, Self help group, Rural Development. She had received Annual Award from National Award from National Dairy Research in Asia, Karnal for outstanding contribution in the capacity building Farm Women on the eve of Agricultural Day. She has also received National Cleanliness Education Promotion Award from the National Institute of Cleanliness Education and Research, New Delhi. With a specialization in Psychology and Education, I am teaching different courses on education in a pre-service Teacher Training Programme (B.El.Ed.) at University of Delhi. Grounded in sociological and social psychological perspectives, my research projects/works during my academic journey have dealt with different educational issues centered on identity and inclusion.

Anjali Tiwari is a doctoral student in Department of Education, University of Delhi, India. The topic of her research is- Higher education and Social mobility of females: A sociological study of Haryana. She also has a Master’s degree in Education (Department of Education, University of Delhi, India) and Sociology (Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, India). She also pursued a four year integrated under-graduate programme in the field of elementary education from University of Delhi, India. Various workshops, seminars and certificate courses related to education and gender studies has also been attended by her.
L. N. Venkataraman (Laksh) is a Faculty Member at the Department of Policy Studies in TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS). Before joining TERI SAS, he has been an Affiliated Lecturer at the Faculty of Education in Universität Bielefeld, Germany; and, at the Centre for Development Support in the University of the Free State, South Africa. Also, he was one of the Thematic Coordinators of the Human Development and Capabilities Association (HDCA) (during 2014-2020), USA; Emerging Researchers’ Group (ERG) [2012-13] European Educational Research Association (EERA), Germany.
Dr Renu Yadav has 9 years of teaching experience in the field of Education in reputed organisation like RIE, GGSIPU. Her research interest include Gender concern in education, Value education and Leadership. She is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Education in Central University of Haryana since 2011. She has been awarded with Gold medal in M.Sc. Microbiology. She has written more than 15 research papers in national and international journals with impact factor. She has Organised/Chaired more than 82 programmes (Seminar, conference, workshops, Panel Discussions etc) at University and National Level. Her interest also include social outreach programmes and theatre, she has organised and directed more than 40 street plays in village community, schools, colleges and University. She is coordinator/member of 23 administrative bodies of Central University of Haryana include Women Empowerment Cell, Community Development Centre, Internal Complaint Committee, School Board and Board of Studies. She has two research projects with her. She has experience in guiding research students of M.Phil and Ph.D.
