In the media: Orwell prize-winner, Andrew Williams, writes in the Guardian

Andrew Williams, Co-Director of the Centre for Human Rights in Practice and Orwell prize-winning author, has had an article published The Guardian on the 12th September: Baha Mousa will never get justice while the army investigates itself.

The article scrutinises continued failings to bring justice for the killing of Baha Mousa 10 years ago in Basra, Iraq. Andrew argues that:

“Without a clear indication that these cases will be fully and independently investigated, there can be little doubt that the institutional sham caused by the killing of Baha Mousa will continue to haunt our armed forces.”

This article follows the shocking story that was unearthed by Andrew in his Orwell prize winning book, “A Very British Killing”.
