How to Apply
Law module pre-registration for 2024/25 will open on Friday 10 May and will close at midday on Friday 31 May. We will confirm your module choices in September, and copy in your home department.
Optional Modules
There is very limited availability for external students to take intermediate and final year Law modules. Please ensue you have also applied for other modules as it is unlikely the Law School will be able to accommodate you.
We will first process all module pre-registration forms for Law, Joint Honours Law, PPL and visiting/exchange students, and allocate their Law modules.
A limited number of places are reserved for students on the following programmes:
-
LA217: Social Theory of Law
- Sociology UG students.
- 30 CATS module, running across terms 1 and 2
- You do not need to complete the module registration form for this module, as this module was included in Sociology's module pre-registration.
-
LA381: Writing Human Rights
- English and Comparative Literary Studies and the Warwick Writing Programme students
- 15 CATS module in term 1
-
LA392: Shakespeare and the Law
- English Literature students
- 15 CATS module in term 2.
-
LA374: Crime and Punishment
- Philosophy students
- 15 CATS module in term 2
If there are any remaining spaces, we will then review the requests from any other external students and notify you in September.
