The Death Penalty Project
The Death Penalty Project provides research to US capital defence attorneys supporting clients on death row. Its new Academy will offer practical training and direct insight from defence lawyers, helping students develop research skills and understand how their work contributes to live cases. The project also hosts events exploring the death penalty internationally and the work of capital defence lawyers.
The Justice4Windrush Project
The Justice4Windrush Project is a new Warwick Law Society pro bono initiative supporting Justice4Windrush. Students can get involved through the ambassador scheme or general volunteering. Activities include raising awareness, fundraising and engaging with the cause.
Youth Inspire
Youth Inspire is a project designed to educate, empower and encourage interested students to engage with law and its professional qualifications into the area. The student-led initiative visits local schools, runs interactive sessions, workshops, and engages in fundraising activities for Positive Youth Foundation.
The Wrongful Convictions and Redress Project
The Wrongful Convictions and Redress Project is dedicated to addressing wrongful convictions and wider injustices by raising funds and awareness for the Innocence Project London, which supports people unjustly convicted of crimes.
The Warwick Women's Project
Students are encouraged to get involved in the Warwick Women’s Project, which supports women across all degrees and backgrounds through confidence-building, social events and legal career guidance, while raising funds for Coventry Haven Women’s Aid.
