Xiaoxi Nie

I am a PhD candidate whose research focuses on corporate governance and sustainability. I hold a Master of Law from the China University of Political Science and Law and a Bachelor of Law from Nanjing Normal University.

I am a recipient of the joint scholarship awarded by the China Scholarship Council and the University of Warwick, supporting my doctoral studies under the supervision of Professor Andrew Johnston. My PhD research examines sustainability corporate governance from a comparative perspective, with a wider focus on how law, regulation, and market forces interact to shape corporate behaviour and accountability.

I am currently a member of the Sustainability Law Research Group at the University of Oslo and the Sustainable Market Actors Research Network.
