We look forward to welcoming you to the Law School. It’s amazing how quickly your postgraduate year will pass, so it is important to start planning ahead and getting as much advice and support as you can early on.

Applications to many UK based employer graduate and work experience schemes, including legal ones, open late summer. Some of the most popular schemes have early deadlines e.g. end of October. There will be lots of opportunities all year round, to meet legal and non-legal recruiters. Many of these employer talks and Careers Fairs happen in the Autumn term, including the October Law Careers Fair. There are also specific events and support for those interested in working internationally.

In the Law School we have a dedicated Senior Careers Consultant, Samantha Brown who works Mondays to Fridays.
