Warwick Law School is now recruiting Ambassadors to support Justice System
Workshops for the 2026/27 academic year to support our outreach work with secondary schools.

To support the School of Law’s outreach provisionLink opens in a new window (link to school booking form), Justice System Ambassadors deliverinteractive workshops in local secondary schools, giving pupils aged 13–18 an insight into the Criminal Justice System. During the session, pupils review a real Crown Court case and work in teams to prepare arguments for the prosecution or defence.
Workshops are delivered primarily in state schools in Coventry, Warwickshire, and the wider West Midlands, particularly those with below‑average exam performance or above‑average eligibility for Free School Meals.
All workshop materials are fully prepared, and comprehensive training will be provided.
Pay: £13.75 per hour plus £1.66 holiday pay per hour.
Delivering interactive workshop content, including presenting sections and working with small groups of pupils.
Encouraging pupil engagement and creating a supportive, positive learning environment.
Working as part of a team of ambassadors to ensure all workshop sections are covered.
Supporting new ambassadors in the role once experienced.
Acting as a positive representative of Warwick Law School and a role model for students who may not traditionally consider university.
A member of staff from the school will always be present, ambassadors are not left alone with pupils.
Confident communicators able to speak with pupils in Years 7–13 (ages 11–18) about the Criminal Justice System and student life (training provided).
Experience running activities with 11–18 year‑olds (desirable).
Experience presenting or delivering sessions as part of a group.
Professional, reliable, and approachable.
Ability to inspire young people to consider future pathways, including university study.
Applicants must be current Law or PPL undergraduates or master’s students who will continue studying at Warwick in 2026/27.
Workshops take place mainly in Coventry, Warwickshire, and across the West Midlands. Transport from campus will be provided.
Hours depend on school requests and cannot be guaranteed. However, ambassadors typically deliver:
At least one workshop per term, with
The potential for up to six workshops per term.
Most workshops are expected to run in Term 3 (after the exam period) in 2026/27.
Open to all Warwick Law School undergraduates continuing into 2026/27.
PPL students are also eligible to apply.

Interviews will provisionally take place on Tuesday 9 June 2026.
