PAIS Module Selection
Instructions
Below you will be asked to select the year you will be starting in the 2025/2026 academic year (i.e. October 2025), your course, and module preference details. Each option module can only be ranked once, but core option modules can also be ranked as option modules.
Please note that this form is for students under the following categories:
- Students whose home department is within PAIS (single and joint-honours)
- Joint-honours politics students whose home department is not PAIS
* You will only be able to select PAIS modules on this form (i.e. those coded as PO). Joint-honours students will need to check with their other department how module selection for non-PAIS modules will take place.
Submission Deadline
This form must be submitted by 12 noon (UK time) on Wednesday 28 May 2025. Places are not allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Students may resubmit the form with different nominations as often as they wish before the submission deadline; the last form submitted by each student will be used in the module allocation process. Those students who fail to submit a form by the deadline are required to wait until the module allocation process has been completed for those students who did submit by the deadline, and then to make their choices from the reduced number of module places that still remain available.
Outside Options
You will only be able to select PAIS modules via this form. We cannot guarantee placements on any outside options.
PAIS students who wish to take non-PAIS outside options must consult the department that owns the module and seek approval. Students from other departments who wish to take a PAIS module as an outside option must follow the guidance from their home departments.
This form is closed and is no longer accepting any submissions.
If you have not yet submitted a module selection form, you will be allocated modules from those remaining once the current allocation is completed.
