Emma Hall is a PhD Candidate researching the grass roots manifestations of American Exceptionalism. She has an MA in US Foreign Policy, and a BA(Hons) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, both also from the University of Warwick. Her PhD research project, currently titled Educational Exceptionalism in the Age of Trump: Producing and Reproducing an Exceptional National Identity, employs ethnographic and discourse analysis approaches, and is supervised by Trevor McCrisken and Christopher Moran.
