Ida Lübben
My PhD project explores appearance-based discrimination from a normative perspective, focussing on cases occurring in civil society and the personal sphere. My broader research interests include feminist philosophy, queer theory, and critical race theory.
I started my PhD at PAIS in October 2019. Previously, I completed a BA and an MA in Social Sciences at the Humboldt University Berlin, Germany, and an MA in Ideology and Discourse Analysis at the University of Essex.
My research is supervised by Prof Andy Mason and Dr Tom Parr and funded by the Leverhulme Trust.
