Research Clusters
Our research is made up of five distinct clusters, each with its own culture and strategy. Each cluster's role is to
- energise departmental research, animating our inclusive research environment
- provide a ‘brains trust’ from experts at the cutting edge of their subfield
- enhance research writings, grant bids and public engagement and impact plans
- provide inclusive peer mentoring around both research and teaching
- organise the delivery the department’s core teaching, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
- play a key role in shaping, and decolonising, our curriculum and enacting our inclusive teaching plan
- prioritise ED&I, striving to support early career researchers in particular
