We would like to congratulate all three departments from PPE for their excellent results in the REF 2014.

The recent national research evaluation exercise (the 2014 Research Excellence Framework, REF placed all three PPE Departments among the top Departments in the UK. The Department of Philosophy was rated 1^st in the UK for research output, the Department of Political and International Studies ranked 1^st for Research Environment, and the Department of Economics had 96% of its research rated World Leading or Internationally Excellent.
