Sociology Module Registration 2026/27
Sociology Module Registration for 2026/27 Academic Year
The Department of Sociology operates a module pre-registration system. This means you will be required to submit your module choices in advance. If your home department is Sociology (BA Sociology, BA Sociology & Criminology, BA Human, Social & Political Sciences and BA Social Science with Data Science), your module choices will be uploaded onto e:Vision in September on your behalf. You will not have direct access to e:Vision to input your module preferences.
Please find below detailed instructions tailored to your degree program.
BA Sociology, BA Sociology & Criminology, BA Human, Social & Political Sciences and BA Social Science with Data Science students
Module Selection Process
- Academic staff will record a brief video overview for each available module for 2026/27. You will be able to access these videos from our ModulesLink opens in a new window webpage. We will email you when the videos for 2026/27 are ready to view.
- The module choice webformLink opens in a new window will be open from late April 2026. A link to the webform will be emailed to your warwick.ac.uk email address when the form opens.
- We will not be allocating on a first come, first serve basis so you do not need to worry about submitting the form as soon as it opens. We strongly encourage you to take your time to properly consider which modules you want to take before submitting the form. The form will close on 5 June 2026.
- Our administrative team will compile the module choice data collected and reach out to you again over the summer vacation to confirm your selections. If you submit more than one version of the form, we will take the module choices from the most recently submitted form.
- You will have a brief window in early September 2026 to request changes to your module choices if necessary. If the module/s you choose to switch to are full at this point you will be placed on a waiting list.
-
We will upload your module choices to e:Vision in late September 2026. You will then be able to register for seminars on Tabula and you will receive an email when Tabula is open for seminar selection.
- If you do not submit the module choice webform before 5 June 2026 we will contact you at your warwick.ac.uk email address after we have allocated places for those students that did complete the form before the closing date. Students who submitted the form before the closing date will have priority and so whilst we will try and accommodate your module preferences, we may have to place you on modules that are not your first choice.

Over the summer vacation our administrative team will contact you to confirm your module selections. Your chosen Sociology modules will also be shared with your home department. Depending on your home department's procedure, they will either upload your Sociology module choices to e:Vision on your behalf or grant you direct access to e:Vision for self-selection. Please note that e:Vision's module registration system (DMM) typically opens on the Wednesday of Welcome Week. Therefore, your Sociology modules will be uploaded to e:Vision after this date, and you will only be able to access e:Vision directly from this date onward. Once your modules are registered on e:Vision (DMM) you will be able to sign up for seminars on Tabula and you will receive an email when Tabula is open for seminar selection.
