Sociology Masters Taster Session

Considering a Master’s in Sociology?

The Department of Sociology invites current undergraduate students to a Masters Taster Session on Wednesday 18th February 2026 at 2pm in OC0.02 (Oculus).

This session offers a great opportunity to explore what postgraduate study in Sociology has to offer. We’ll provide an overview of our five Master’s programmes, alongside short introductions to some of the exciting modules available at postgraduate taught level.

After the session, join us for pizza and soft drinks and stay for an informal chat with academic staff. It’s a relaxed chance to ask questions, discuss your interests, and find out whether postgraduate study with us is the right next step for you.

Whether you’re already thinking about a Master’s or just curious to learn more, we’d love to see you there.
