Project overview

Professor Mah’s research on urban sociology, industrial decline, and environmental politics is internationally recognized. She has written two sole-authored books, several articles and book chapters, and won prizes for her research. She is using these Leverhulme prize funds to carry out additional research required to write her next book entitled Petrochemical Planet: Multiscalar Battles of Industrial Transformation (under contract with Duke University Press).
