Working to build resilience and strengthen children who have lived with domestic violence.

Project overview

This project aims to improve services for children who are affected by gender based violence in their homes. Children’s workers from specialised support services for victims of domestic violence and professionals from a wide range of agencies which come into contact with children and their families will meet in 3 international multi-agency meetings. Inputs from practitioners already identified as providing best practice will be discussed and training modules developed and field tested with various agencies and in multi-agency settings. At the end of the project period a training manual for professionals will be developed and made freely available online in four languages.
