Shona Robinson-Edwards

Shona Robinson-Edwards is a Teaching Fellow in Criminology. Shona has a wealth of teaching experience, and teaches on a number of undergraduate and postgraduate modules in the department of sociology. Shona’s PhD is titled Faith after Murder; Religion in the lives of individuals convicted of homicide offences. Prior to this Shona completed her BSc (Hons) in Criminal investigation and MA in Criminology.

Research 

Race, rehabilitation, religion and desistance are Shona’s areas of interest. Shona has written a number of peer reviewed journal articles, in 2020 her article titled 'Examining Prisoner Experience of an Equine Assisted Psychotherapy' was selected as a Highly Commended Paper and received an Emerald Literati Award.
