Currently all three of the student printers in the PG IT Suite are broken/damaged. Please use the computers and printers in the WBS Teaching Centre. These have been checked and are both working correctly.

We have been informed by the Estates Office that they will be conducting testing of circuits within WBS over the next few weeks. In particular they will need to test circuits related to the provision of IT services. To minimise disruption they have agreed to do this on Dec 23rd (the final working day before Christmas).

This Tuesday morning we will be taking our database server offline between 07.00 and 09.00 to maintenance that will pave the way for improvements to the discussions system. This will result in there being no access to my.wbs, parts of the public website www.wbs and any other system that relies on the Management Information System (MIS).

16 November, 14.45: Transco have just informed the University that a gas
leak has been identified at the Clinical Trials Building at the Gibbet
Hill campus on Gibbet Hill Road.

There will be audible fire alarm testing in WBS over the weekend of 30th - 31st Oct.
