On 11 January 2024, in Cape Town, scholars gathered after the Africa Academy of Management
(AFAM) 2024 conference to explore “North-South Dialogue on Practice-Based Approaches to
Management Studies in Africa.” Co-hosted by Warwick Business School and Stellenbosch

dedicated to practice-based research on African management topics.

regular online webinars and spurs conversations, aiming to:

• Review and reframe existing knowledge with a practice-based lens
• Enhance knowledge sharing and collaborations among scholars globally
• Bridge research and practice for real-world impact in Africa
Led by coordinators Mira Slavova and Natasha Winkler-Titus, NetprosAfrica
