Abdullah Assadi

Biography

Abdullah Assadi is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA), at WBS. He is a certified management consultant with more than 20 years of experience in Human Capital Development. Abdullah has an MBA in Talent Management from the University of Strathclyde. He also has several international certifications in HR: SHRM Senior Certified Professional, and GPHR, Coaching (ACC, International Coach Federation), Psychometric Assessment (BPS) and Project Management (PMP).

Abdullah is an active coach and mentor at various global institutes. Coaching is his passion; contributing to his community and giving back to his society is his motive.

Research Topic

Impact of Emerging Technologies on Human Capital Division.  

Due to the fourth industrial revolution, the world has been exposed to considerable changes in the ways it operates. Organizations are now using digital and mobile technologies, emulating many entrepreneur start-ups that are competing and often outperform existing ones using the latest technologies.

Abdullah’s research aims to study the impact of technologies on the current and future needs within the Human Capital (HC) division, including the integration of Social, Mobile, Analytics, and Cloud (SMAC) technology. Current job roles are evolving, and with the help of the emerging technologies (such as AI, Blockchain, VR, AI, IoT, etc.), it will change the shape of the future jobs. Accordingly, organizations have to prepare to build the competencies of the future, today!
