Africa Hub Visiting PhD fellowships

The Africa Hub is delighted to announce our inaugural round of visiting PhD fellowships for students registered at African universities.

The purpose of the fellowships are:

  1. To provide opportunities to outstanding current PhD students registered at African universities to access facilities, networks or other opportunities that will be transformative for their current research and/or future career development.
  2. To consolidate existing research ties between Warwick academics and collaborators based in African universities.
  3. To help support Warwick's developing African Partnership Strategy.

Fellowships can be held for any duration of up to 12 months (there is no minimum duration).

Eligibility and application process

Applications will be completed and submitted by colleagues at Warwick willing to act as a host supervisor throughout the duration of the fellowship and will require the support of both the Warwick head of department and either the home supervisor or the home head of department.

Full details, including the guidelines and an application form are found on this page (requires a Warwick log-in).
