Warwick celebrates 150 partnership scholars who join our community this year
On Monday 11th November many of our partnership scholars attended an evening reception to celebrate their success in securing highly prestigious and competitive scholarships to study at Warwick. Over 150 partnership scholars are studying at Warwick this year from 44 countries.

Warwick launches new Joint PhD with Shanghai Jiao Tong University
Warwick has launched a Joint PhD with Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) to further strengthen our research collaboration and support the development of our future research leaders. Applications are now open for scholars to join the programme for the Autumn 2025 intake.
The Warwick Horizon Europe Seed Fund has been launched
The main aim of seed funding is to support Warwick academics and researchers to engage with the Horizon Europe programme.
The Seed Fund provides funding of up to £7.5k/ award for projects made under one of three routes:
1) Existing collaborations (max funding £7.5K/award);
2) New collaborations (max funding £5K/award) and
3) Consultancy services (max funding £7.5K/award).

09 September 2024: Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International) Michael Scott unveiled the Monash Warwick Alliance Associates initiative, a key component of the Alliance’s new strategic direction. This exciting new offering underscores the partnership’s commitment to fostering a vibrant and collaborative community dedicated to addressing global challenges.

Confluenze veneziane at Palazzo Giustinian Lolin for Art Night
On 22nd June 2024, Warwick Venice Centre participated in Art Night, an annual event coordinated by Ca'Foscari whereby organisations all over Venice extended their opening hours or specially opened their doors to the public. Warwick Venice Centre teamed up with the Fondazione Ugo and Olga Levi, Venice in Peril and the photographer Anna Zemella.
A duo of musicians from the local High School, Liceo classic Marco Polo regaled to two concerts of guitar music both well attended . At the Centre a continuous stream of visitors viewed an exhibition of photographs of Anna Zemella as well as a video of Venice in Peril and various videos of Warwick University campus as well as Warwick Venice Centre activities.
