The University of Warwick welcomed Professor Tshilidzi Marwala, Rector of the United Nations University, who delivered an insightful address to staff, students and members of the public this week. Professor Marwala, an authority on artificial intelligence (AI) and its educational applications, gave the Distinguished Africa Lecture on his vision of the transformative potential of AI in higher education and its implications for Africa.
Workshop on online campaigning: CHESNO & The University of Warwick
The CHESNO Movement in partnership with The University of Warwick (UK) is organising a workshop for representatives of civil society and international specialised organisations. The event will bring together experts and academics from three countries - Ukraine, the UK and Italy. Participants will be able to share their experience and deepen their expertise in the areas of social media monitoring to detect political advertising and disinformation, international approaches to regulating this area, and ways to counter foreign interference.
