This visit provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen academic ties and explore new avenues for collaboration between Warwick and leading Japanese institutions.

Costs

One-week courses:

  • Students taking one course pay €400, if you take more than one course, each course costs €350.
  • You will also need to cover the cost of accommodation 🏠 and travel ✈🚅

Living in Venice

  • Students coming from abroad receive comprehensive pre-departure arrival information and assistance with the visa process, as well as access to University libraries (open late), cafeterias, Wi-Fi, and more. Students can book from a number of accommodation options in the historical city centre of Venice or in Mestre on the mainland. Students can contact our office to receive more information regarding this – anticipated costs around 300 euros for one week.

Venice in Peril

Congratulations to Guy Ridsdill Smith for winning the first Venice in Peril Fund Coursework Prize for Warwick students in Venice. The prize was awarded for Guy’s research project, completed as part of the Warwick History module “Renaissance in Venice”, which focused on the history of the Venetian printing press.
