Five EUTOPIA Researchers Awarded ERC Proof of Concept Grants

EUTOPIA is delighted to compliment five of its outstanding researchers who have been awarded the European Research Council (ERC) Proof of Concept grants. The ERC Proof of Concept grants are awarded to help researchers explore the commercial and societal innovation potential of their ERC-funded research. These grants provide €150,000 for each project to bridge the gap between early-phase findings and their practical application. This funding hopes to encourage scientific results into tangible innovations that benefit industry and society.

Prof. Stuart Croft Named Interim Chair of EUTOPIA

New Research project with Ca' Foscari University of Venice

The Guild: AI in European universities – reflections from the members

Last week Yulia Timofeeva, Kathryn Hunger and Ayse Sunar from the Department of Computer Science at Warwick joined members of The Guild to exchange with peers, experts and policymakers on the fast-changing field of artificial intelligence (AI) in The Guilds members-only event “AI in European universities: Opportunities and challenges”. Supported by Université Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL) and Université Paris Cité, they discussed the impact of AI in research and educational activities at the inspiring PariSanté Campus.
