Warwick has been awarded the prestigious Institution of the Year Award at the UKCISA #WeAreInternational Awards 2025, where the finalists and winners were selected from over 420 nominations from 120 institutions.

The University of Warwick’s Global Illuminations Procession returned to campus this week, bringing together a record-breaking number of students to celebrate cultural diversity and foster community connections. As part of the University’s 60th anniversary, the event offered students a platform to share their cultural traditions and learn from one another.

On Monday 17th November, the Global Excellence Event, part of One World Warwick, brought together and celebrated over 200 students awarded prestigious scholarships. Hosted by Professor Michael Scott, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International), the event united recipients of an Undergraduate Global Excellence Scholarship and Global Partnership Scholars to recognise their achievements and foster connections.

A new Insight Paper published by The Guild of European Research-Intensive Universities, co-authored by Professor Jo Angouri and Professor Jan Palmowski from the University of Warwick, offers a critical analysis of the European Universities Initiative (EUI).

The conference, themed Reimagining Public Health: Building Equitable, Inclusive, and Sustainable Futures, united EUTOPIA students worldwide through a dynamic hybrid format. Key highlights included student-led co-creation, inclusive participation, and a diverse lineup of speakers. The event sparked collaboration and innovation, paving the way for a more equitable and sustainable future in public health.
