Away from Campus over Easter?
If you are going to be away from the campus over the easter break, IT Services has a range of Collaborative Tools which can be used to gain access to files, email and attend meetings.
Disruption to University Phone System 2nd and 3rd July
An upgrade is required to the University phone system. This work will mean that individual elements of the phone system, for example a particular group of buildings, will be out of action for a 15-minute period at some point over the weekend of 2nd & 3rd July.
The affected phone systems cover Central campus, Gibbet Hill and Claycroft & Lakeside residences. If you are aware of any activity which will be disrupted by this work, please let us know and we will endeavour to work around it.
The following areas/numbers will NOT be impacted - University House, Argent Court, Estates, Adsfab, Jobs.ac, Milburn House, HRI, New Maths building, Warwick Digital, WBS phase 3, Westwood Campus, main switchboard, Clinical Trials Unit, ITS Helpdesk, Arts Centre Box Office and Voicemail.
Emergency phones will also continue to work during the upgrades.

Email Synchronisation Issue on Mobile Phones
We have received a number of calls recently regarding email not being received/synchronised on mobile phones. This is as a result of the Security Certificate (SSL) being updated on the Exchange Servers.
If you have a Nokia or Android phone (HTC, Samsung etc) you should run a manual synchronisation and when prompted select ‘Accept Certificate Permanently’. Once this has been done, email will be received/synchronised automatically as before.
On some older phones, this certificate will not be recognised. If you are still having problems, please log a call with the IT Services Helpdesk.
University Mobile Phone Reception Problem
IT Services have received numerous complaints from University Mobile Phone users, regarding problems connecting to the Vodafone network while on campus. Problems include 'Network Busy' errors, no signal and unable to connect to the 3G (data) signal.
We have escalated this issue to Vodafone for resolution and have been asked to provide specific instances of when problems occur. To assist with this, please could University Mobile phone users complete this online form when they have experienced issues.
