If you are going to be away from the campus over the easter break, IT Services has a range of Collaborative Tools which can be used to gain access to files, email and attend meetings.

The dial-in numbers, which can be used to join a Webex meeting, will be changing on 1st July. The old numbers will continue to work until 29 July, but will be withdrawn on 29th July.

If you have already scheduled a meeting, to take place after 29 July, you should delete and re-create the meeting. This will generate a new meeting invitation that contains the updated phone numbers.

On Friday 3 June, Cisco will be upgrading the Webex service between 19:00 and 24:00. There will be no impact to service during this time, but on your next log-in to Webex you will be invited to update your software. This upgrade will provide additional enhancements to Video use and support for additional languages.

Webex is a fully-supported desktop conferencing solution, which allows meetings to take place from a desktop or laptop computer using a microphone and/or webcam.

If you use Webex, you can install the Webex Productivity Tools, which enable you to quickly start a Webex session from Outlook, MSN or from your web browser with just one-click. You can download these tools from the Warwick Webex site, click the ‘Support’ link on the left hand side and then ‘Downloads’.

WebEx will be updating us to the newest release of WebEx Business Suite on Friday 26 February between 19:00 and 00:00. The WebEx service will still be available during this time. On your next log-on to WebEx you will be offered the new version which contains several feature additions and enhancements.
