Professor Twigg-Flesner has major project approved by the ELI

Warwick Law School’s Professor Christian Twigg-Flesner has been working on a project for the European Law Institute (ELI) alongside colleagues from across Europe for the past three years. The Council of the ELI has now approved the Guiding Principles and Model Rules on Digital Assistants for Consumer Contracts (“DACC”).

Landmark workshop on Law, Development and Environmental Governance

Warwick Law School, the Department of Politics and International Studies and the University of Nairobi’s Faculty of Law, hosted a vibrant and intellectually rich workshop on 28 March 2025, exploring “Law and Development Perspectives of Environmental Governance in Africa.” The hybrid event brought together leading academics, practitioners, and students for a day of critical reflection and dialogue on some of the most pressing legal and developmental issues facing the continent.


Over 100 attendees participated in the Warwick Law School Public Lecture at USIU-Africa

Warwick Law School, in collaboration with United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa), hosted a successful public lecture last month in Nairobi, Kenya, that attracted over 100 students, academics, and legal professionals. The event provided a platform for insightful discussions on pressing legal and social issues, reinforcing Warwick’s commitment to global engagement and academic collaboration.


Dr Ming-Sung Kuo awarded Prize of Scholarly Excellence
