University of Warwick Chemists pick up three RSC Prizes

Today we are celebrating our 2025 RSC Prize Winners! Congratulations to our Student Experience Team who have won the Innovation Through Diversity Prize, and to Ed Greenough for his contribution to the Boostcrop collaborative project which takes the Faraday Horizon Prize. Jack Woolley, WCUS RTP, also shares credit for collaborating on this project as well as winning the Technical Excellent Prize!

Prof Julie MacPherson honoured with prestigious international award

Professor Julie Macpherson, Department of Chemistry at University of Warwick has been awarded the 2025 Advances in Measurement Science Lectureship Award for her outstanding contributions to electrochemical analysis and BDD sensors.


Reinhard Maurer selected as Alexander von Humboldt Professor

Professor Reinhard Maurer has received Germany’s most valuable research award. He was nominated by the University of Göttingen in conjunction with the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences.

WMG Professor appointed to UK Government's Expert Advisory Panel

Professor Siddartha Khastgir, Head of Safe Autonomy at WMG at The University of Warwick, has been appointed as a member of the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV)Expert Advisory Panel (EAP).

Along with another 11 panel members, Professor Khastgir will advise and inform on the implementation programme and policies within the UK's Automated Vehicles (AV) Act.
