Lacuna publishes LLM student's competition winning story
'Window-dressing' in the COVID-19 pandemic: The troubling story behind the rainbows in the windows has been published in our Lacuna Magazine. The author, Amanda Kowalczyk, who is currently studying part-time on our LLM in Advanced Legal Studies, won Lacuna's 2021 Warwick Law School Writing Competition for her story about the impact of the Covid lockdown on children.

Applications are invited for a fully-funded PhD studentship (fees and maintenance) to be held at the Department of History, University of Warwick and the Science Museum, London. The studentship is funded through the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s Science Museums and Archives Consortium Collaborative Doctoral Partnership (CDP) scheme. The project will be supervised jointly by Dr James Poskett (Warwick), Dr Katayoun Shafiee (Warwick), Dr Richard Dunn (Science Museum), and Mr Ben Russell (Science Museum). Dr Freya Harrison wins WH Pierce Prize 2021
Dr Freya Harrison has been awarded the WH Pierce Prize 2021 by the Society for Applied Microbiology for her work in translating medieval literature and medical texts to uncover ancient antimicrobial recipes.
