Congratulation to Dr Meleisa Ono-George who has been award National Teaching Fellowship.

Dr Meleisa Ono-George is an expert in anti-racist pedagogy and inclusive teaching practice. Embedding both in order to support more positive outcomes and experience for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) students in Higher Education. She is Associate Professor and Director of Student Experience in the Department of History.

Professor Anne Gerritsen is among 84 new Fellows announced by the prestigious institution, which was founded in 1902 as the UK’s national academy for the humanities and social sciences.

A British Academy Fellowship is one of the highest honours available to UK academics, awarded to researchers who, in the view of their peers, have made a distinguished academic contribution to humanities or social science research.

Kaneeka Kapur, a final-year undergraduate student within Warwick Law School, has been awarded the 2021 Diana Award in recognition of her amazing work on Pardesi - a social action platform that she created to provide a space for South Asian women to be heard, seen and celebrated.

Dr Laura Lammasniemi has been chosen to deliver the 2021 British Science Association Social Sciences Award Lecture, in recognition of her innovative research and commitment to public engagement.

Law finalist Ruth Mukasa has successfully completed the Warwick Skills Portfolio Award (WSPA) this year. The WSPA scheme helps students to enhance their study skills and develop other skills that are not only valued by employers but also useful more broadly for students in their personal lives whilst studying at Warwick.

Dr Celine Tan and Dr Andi Hoxhaj have been announced as winners of this year’s Warwick Awards for Teaching Excellence (WATE) and PhD student Sahar Shah has been awarded the Warwick Award for Teaching Excellence for Postgraduates who Teach (WATE PGR).
