WMG at the University of Warwick is delighted to announce the appointment of cyberpsychologist Professor Monica Whitty, who joins the Cyber Security research team from the University of Leicester, as Professor of Human Factors in Cyber Security.

The Senate and Council of the University of Warwick have agreed to appoint The Rt Hon. The Baroness Ashton of Upholland GCMG PC as the University of Warwick’s new Chancellor, succeeding Sir Richard Lambert who concluded his time as Warwick’s Chancellor at the end of the 2015-16 academic year. Lady Ashton will take up the role with effect from the 1st of January 2017, when she will become the first ever female Chancellor of the University of Warwick.

Three academics from the University of Warwick have been elected by the British Academy as Fellows, in recognition of their outstanding research.
