Behavioural Ethics
Warwick researchers have been investigating how and under which circumstances people make (un)ethical decisions. Our research has explored why people make the (un)ethical decisions that they do - even when with the best intentions as well as the ethical trade-offs that people make when deciding what to choose among alternatives.
Topics our researchers have explored include:
- How people can improve their individual ethical decision-making capacities?
- How decisions can be nudged in one direction or the other through simple interventions?
- How situational and social factors influence (un)ethical behaviour?
- How to promote ethical culture in organizations?
- Does leadership affect unethical conduct?
