Faculty of Science, Engineering and Medicine & Connecting Cultures GRP
Funding of up to £1,500 is now available for members of the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Medicine who are interested in undertaking work within and through culture, as part of the Connecting Cultures GRP.
As a GRP, we are particularly interested in supporting researchers and communities to explore the interface between art and STEM subjects. More specifically, the role of cultural lenses in interpreting, and communicating, STEM research findings and ideas.
Previous funded activities include (but are not limited to): Pump-priming activities leading to external grant applications, community/impact/public engagement events, digital outputs, conference/seminar organisation and to support visiting fellows.
Please note we do not fund individual research trips or conference attendance. For undergraduate projects, please see the Undergraduate Research Support Scheme or IATL’s project support scheme. We are unable to fund activities that are part of taught assessed work at any level.
