Productivity & Futures of Work Funding Application
Use this form to apply for small grant funding from the Productivity & Futures of Work Global Research Priority (GRP). The submitted forms will be received by the GRP administrator and reviewed by the GRP academic leads.
We are offering small grants of up to £1500 to support early career researchers from any discipline seeking to develop research on productivity and the futures of work.
We are keen to support researchers who may have recently completed a PhD and who need some seed funding to develop a funding proposal, but we are open to proposals for any viable project led by an early career researcher. ‘Early career’ refers to any researcher with a research record (including completed PhD) but who has not yet held a full-time permanent academic post.
Funds could be used to run an event or seminar, to scope out potential project partners outside the university, or to support a preliminary pilot study as ‘proof of concept’ for a more ambitious proposal. Projects should either include or have the potential to include partners or participants from outside the university. We are particularly keen to support collaborative and interdisciplinary projects.
Our funding priorities are:
- Projects which fit the aims and scope of the Productivity and Futures of Work GRP.
- Projects which aim to generate impact and engagement outside the university.
- Projects which have the potential for future development including future funding bids.
The deadline for applications is midnight Tuesday 31st January 2023.
The project must be completed and all funds spent by the Friday 30th June 2023.
Applications can be saved in progress, but once submitted cannot be edited.
