About WCUS

WCUS provides access to advanced laser systems for investigating molecular-level processes that occur in just quadrillionths of a second.

As Platform Manager, Jack uses ultra-short laser pulses to observe how molecules and materials behave when they interact with light. This helps researchers uncover the fundamental properties of matter and improve material performance and efficiency.

Jack works closely with both Warwick-based researchers and external partners, supporting innovation across a wide range of fields - from studying how UV light affects DNA to advancing solar energy technologies.
