Online Publication of Warwick’s Technician Commitment Action Plan and Self-Assessment

The University submitted the Stage Two Self-Assessment and 36 month Action Plan for our Technician Commitment, signed by Professor Stuart Croft as Vice-Chancellor & President, to the Science Council. All the documents submitted are published on our TechNet pages.

The progress made in the past 24 months are described both in the self-assessment and the accompanying action plan RAG document. Significant progress has been made against the original action plan with a number of additional action points taken into consideration from our work with the technical community.

However, we know there is always more that can be done. We see the 36 month action plan as a living document for future progress, much like our original action plan. We will periodically update and republish this on the TechNet webpages, but we are also eager to incorporate the ideas that our technical community has across the broad range of themes. We believe your input is vital to ensure the work we put into this plan makes a real difference to our technical staff.

We will continue to host events, have regular focus groups and reach out to our technical community, but if you have an idea you would like the Steering Group to consider, please do feel free to send it to technicians@warwick.ac.uk.

Chair of the Technician Commitment Steering Group,

Professor David Leadley
