The £4.99 million TALENT programme, funded by Research England, has launched a webpage (https://www.mitalent.ac.uk/Home) which includes an introductory video and brochure outlining what the project will achieve for the Midlands Innovation technical workforce. This outlines how 3 distinct work packages will support the technical staff across eight midlands universities, including Warwick. This includes bespoke skills training, a conference fund and peer to peer learning initiatives.

The Chair of the TALENT Policy Commission has also been announced as Professor Sir John Holman, University of York. This policy-based commission approach will be focused on investigating and providing a set of national recommendations on Technical Talent for the Future.
