To book and secure accommodation you must be in the first year of a four year, graduate entry, MBChB registered course on a full time basis starting from September 2023.
Your student status must be unconditional firm ('UF') in order to successfully book a room. If you book a room without having an unconditional firm ('UF') offer of study, your booking will be cancelled.
Before you book a room
You'll need your seven digit University of Warwick ID number ready, found in your study offer email. Please contact admissions if you do not have a University ID number.
You'll need to apply through the appropriate process separately if you have any specific accommodation requirements, including health and disability needs. You should ensure you complete this process as soon as possible to ensure there is enough time for it to be assessed as you will need to submit suitable evidence in advance of the deadline of 26 July 2023. Please be aware that you will still need to book accommodation.
Your booking confirmation email will be sent to the contact email address on your student record. Please ensure that this is correct before booking a room. You will need to provide a personal email address (not an agent email address) that you will still be able to access in September 2023.

The deadline for specific accommodation requirements requests to be supported by the relevant team is 26 July 2023, so you'll need to ensure you submit suitable evidence in advance of this deadline to ensure there is enough time to be assessed. MBChB students who are supported may need to be allocated to a suitable postgraduate residence where the let length may differ to the standard MBChB option.
Please note that you still need to separately book a room. You'll need to provide a shorter, brief summary of your requirements such as the nature of your disability, medical or mental health condition during the room booking process prior to selecting an available room.
If you are an MBChB student moving into your second year or beyond, you can look for private accommodation off campus. Whilst you can conduct your own search for accommodation, the University offers an exclusive property search platform, Warwick Studentpad, to help you search for properties if you need a helping hand.
Yes, as a first year MBChB student you are able to park your car on campus. Please see the University's car parking webpages for further information about costs, parking options and how to register your car for automatic parking charges.
If you are planning to live at Warwick with your family, unfortunately our halls of residence are not suitable as most rooms are single occupancy.
We do however offer a range of family housing options through our Staff and Family Accommodation Team. If you would like to apply for family accommodation, please see the Staff and Family Housing webpages in the first instance.
We have a very limited number of options for two students who wish to live together on campus. Our couples accommodation must be booked by two fully registered Warwick students and you'll need to follow a separate application process. You should not book a single occupancy room in Tocil Halls of Residence if you'd like to explore our couples accommodation. Before applying for couples accommodation, please ensure you review the accommodation options carefully as they are different to the standard MBChB option.
