WAPTE 2020 Shortlist
We are very pleased to announce the shortlist for the Warwick Awards for Personal Tutoring Excellence (WAPTE).
This initiative recognises the importance of academic support to our students and seeks to celebrate the work of the University's dedicated network of Senior and Personal Tutors. We received 28 nominations for tutors across a wide range of departments and all Faculties, with many nominations coming directly from students.
Dr Rebecca Freeman, Dean of Students, commented:
It has been a pleasure to read the excellent nominations that we received from across the academic community for the awards. Many nominations came from the student body, demonstrating the importance and value that students place on this aspect of academic work. Personal tutoring has a huge impact on students' learning engagement and experience and it is very heartening to see the thought, time and dedication that colleagues bring to personal tutoring at Warwick.
