Digital Learning can support you with the use of our tools but also with developing online learning materials, moving courses online, designing multimedia, choosing digital pedagogic approaches suitable for your subject, and much more...

Please contact us via the Online Help Desk, providing as much detail as possible regarding your query. Please note, we support the use of Digital Learning tools. Login problems and module enrolment enquiries should be addressed to the relevant teams in IDG.

Support & Training

The Digital Learning team support the use of online learning tools such as the Visual Learning Environment (VLE), Lecture Capture and podcasting. We also help create multimedia content and support course design to enhance the user experience.

VLE

Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) - Extend the classroom online with student access to module activities and resources. Build a space to suit the structure of your course.

Lecture Capture - Capture, edit and share video content with your students. Help them revise, engage and gain more from your teaching.

Student participation - Promote student engagement and support immediate feedback for teachers and students. Allow responsive teaching, peer learning and active learning in large-group teaching.

Collaboration - Easily collaborate online. Use flexible online spaces where everyone can contribute to plan, create and reflect on ideas together.

Multimedia - Create audio and visual multimedia to enhance your users’ experience with podcasts, videos and animations.

ePortfolio - Record digital content that represents students’ achievements, development and capabilities and to allow student reflection on their own learning.
